Technology Wood

In Technology Wood I have chosen to make a Box for myself.I think this Box is the best choice because it will be used for putting jewellery and money in it. This box will feel like a memory to me because it will remind me about what Technology Wood was like and what we had to do.I will cherish this Box so it can be a memory until I die, so when I look at my box it will take my memory back when I was a year 8.

Polyfest

On Wednesday the year 7&8 from Pt England School went Poly fest. When they got there - their were different types of schools they didn’t know,but until they got in all schools got called to sit down in front of the stage and listen to the person who is telling us about Poly fest and why we should go.When she was finished we had to split into our pods (1 2 3 4 and 5),then had someone to show them what activities there doing and his was Siu.

Our first activities:Our first activity was using skipping ropes and another one but I don't know what it was called.Then told us to split into 2 group but still in the same pod.When we were in our groups we had to go in pairs and had 1 skipping rope each pair,then she told us ''this is a competition and the first to get up to 50 wins but 1 person has to skip 10 times then switch with your pair then they have to do 10 OK! when I blow my whistle you start jumping'' ''ready'' 3...2...1...'' she blow her whistle my partner Trendy started jumping 1...2...3...4...5...6 she carried on then passed it to me then I started jumping,when we got up to 50 we screamed to give her a signal so she know were finish ''we won'' I shouted,I was so happy,then moved on to the other activity.

Our Second activity was fun because we had to try and put the Polynesian flags back to there own island,but we didn't win but it was still fun.

Our third activity:We had to try and catch the person's finger but move your right finger out of the right person's left hand.I didn't catch the person on my left because I was to focused on getting my finger captured from the right.

Our fourth activity:We had to split in to 2 groups again,but get in to pairs of 8.The object we were using was a hula hoop.What we had to do was widen our legs and put our hand through but the grab the person's hand in front of you and try and get the hula hoop over everybody body in our team.

Then last thing we had to do was go and buy food from the I don't what it was called but it didn't matter to me because I didn't buy anything.Then after minutes we all met up and the cook island stage to leave and say good bye.We all walked to the exit to the bus and back to school.
