Narrative Writing

Once upon a time there was a young intelligent girl,she had long beautiful jet black hair,and beautiful
shiny cyan eyes.She lived in a very nice big house with her parents and her siblings.Her father owned a
business,her mother was a doctor,one of her siblings studied in university of becoming a lawyer and one
was an actor.Her special talent was singing,she started to become passionate about it,but she had a
problem,her parents wouldn’t allow her to become a singer,they wanted her to be like them or her siblings.
She felt heartbroken and sad,she was expecting them to support her,she stayed in her room for weeks
but only came out to eat.When she got older she moved out of the house and started her career, her
dream came true and she became a very famous singer.

Poem of Happiness

Happiness is Yellow,

smells like fresh baked cookies.

Happiness looks like a bright color that will always shine bright.

The sound of happiness is laughter and joy.

Happiness feels like you don’t want it to end,and you want it to continue more in life.

Science Experiment

Aim:We trying to see a clear picture of an onion cell

Hypothesis:

The magnification will be see 10 times

Equipment:

• A Onion
• A Slide
• Cover Slip
• Tweezers
• Blue Dye

Method:

we took off a layer of an onion with a tweezer,then we put it on the slide.

We did two drops of saline,and then another two drops of blue dye.

Then after that we put the cover slip on,then put it in the microscope to

see what the onion cells looks like.

Observation:

It looked like purple lines with a bit of light,but with purple spot.

Cybersmart

Task Description:

Today in Cyber smart class/maths class,we had to think of 5 words the relate to these 5 words,which is Learn,Create,Share,World, and Cyber smart. My group thought of 5 words and it was Knowledge,Design,Giving,Earth, and Cyber.Then we had to write the meaning of the words we chose,Knowledge:which means learning is important in life too,and that word was related to Learn,Design:It means design something unique in life,and that word was related to create,Giving:that is the meaning of giving things to people with kindness and care,and this relates to Share,Earth:earth is the meaning of loving the land and loving your love one's,and that relates to World,Cyber:Cyber is obvious,it's Cyber smart,but the meaning of that means to be digital.That's what we did today.  

How To Be A Good Leader Of The School

Do you know how to be a good leader of the school? Do you treat students and school things with respect? This explanation writing will be explaining how to be one and show that you are one.

Good leaders show respect to newcomers and visitors,they welcome them with
respect and kindness. They will show respect by showing them around the
block or school,and also becoming friends with them,while showing kindness.
For example you see a new student come into your class, you could nicely
greet them with a “Hello” or “Hi”,and probably introduce yourself to them so
when they need help they can ask you or the teacher.

Being good leaders of the school means to be helpful.Being helpful means to
help teachers and students with things they are struggling to do in class.
For an example you saw a teacher carrying boxes with things in it because
she is going to do something with their class,you ran towards her to help,
and then they will thank you because you were showing them that you are a
good leader of the school.

If you were to be a good leader you would wear your uniform with pride and be
proud of yourself.Wearing your uniform with pride means you are proud of
yourself and you are proud of the school you are in.For example you could
wear the right uniform wear and coming in with full school uniform,because
some students come in with extra clothes from home like a jacket or a jumper.

So you now know what and how you should become a good leader of the
school? So are you going to be respectful,kind,helpful and have pride towards
others,well take my advice and see if it works.

Maths Revision

WALT: Revise what we already know.Task Description:This week was the first week of school and we did a presentation that helps us remember how to solve  answers  to an equation faster and easier.

Spaghetti and Marshmallow Tower

Today we learnt about how to demonstrate what Smart Relationships is and qualities about it.Our challenge for today was to build a Spaghetti and Marshmallow Tower with 15 sticks,1 big marshmallow in 15 minutes. When we started I was very excited to win and thought it would be easy,but as we started to build I didn't know what to do.As we were still trying to build,we broke parts of the marshmallow and put each of the Spaghetti sticks on each part of the small marshmallows, that we broke.We looked around to see how everybody else's one was going and some fell.

It was five minutes left and we still couldn't make our tower stand,our hands were sticky and our spaghetti sticks were mostly covered with marshmallow.Our tower wasn't in place but we were still trying to make stand.We only had less time left,we were struggling to make our tower stand 3...2...1... STOP! our teacher came to measure our tower but then it fell.She measured it and our height measure was 3 centimetres.We almost lost but at least we came 4th.The qualities that my team had and did was being helpful,patient,communication and loyal.

Stealing To Survive

WALT:Justify Our Ideas

Task Description:

This week in Room 5 Literacy we learnt about why is it ok or why is it not ok to steal.Well my questions in my head were is it ok to steal on purpose,is it ok to save your family,well what would chose.

Technology Wood

Step 1 I used a piece of wood,a pencil and a steel ruler to make a full size
working drawing of my Box because it will show proof that it can be made and
that I can make too. Step 2 I also used a Tri-square to copy the measurements
from my drawing onto the wood that I’m using. Step 3 I marked a square line at
90 degrees across the wood to make it straight. Step 4 I cut off the first piece of
wood carefully using a Backed saw and a Bench hook. Step 5 I then marked
out the joint using a Tri-Square to check if it was straight.Step 6 I used a
Backed saw again to cut the line and stopped in the middle of the side of my
wood.Step 9 after I cut it,I used a Wood Chisel to make a joint on both of my
wood.Step 10 I got two spare of flat wood to make the sides of my box.Step 11
I glued all the pieces together and used rubber bands to tighten it,now I have
to wait for 30 minutes.Step 12 after 30 minutes my box dried up and now I am
getting a lid for my box.Step 13 I finished.

Evaluation

For my project I have created turned out to be very good,and I am actually
proud of myself for finishing it on time,than taking my time.Before I made my
Box I also had other ideas that I couldn’t have done. The ideas that I would’ve
done was a truck,jewellery tree, helicopter, bus,skateboard,ship,and a pencil
holder.But I made my decision and made a Box.I actually thought making a
Box was going to be easy but turned out to be hard.The working drawing of
my Box started of with a joint,then draw a box using a pencil and ruler to know
when I am going to stop measuring.The height of my woods was both 160
centimetres,and also the bottom wood.The marking out of my Box was very
important,I am very nervous that my teacher going to say that had mistakes
but it was actually OK.When I used a backed saw I was very nervous and
scared that thought I was going to cut my hand.The chiselling was kind of
scary too, because I thought I was going to chisel the wrong part of my wood.
After that I put all my pieces together.I looked at what I have done and checked
if it worked probably,and stayed together.If I had to make another box than this
one right now it would look better. 

De-extinction

Healing Honey
